Project Title: Mission Launch Team Training

Executive Summary: This comprehensive instructor-led training curriculum was created to address the issue of ill-prepared short-term mission trips. The curriculum aimed to prepare team members to unite and serve spiritually, physically, and cross-culturally through pre-trip meetings, self-study assignments, and supplementary video instruction. Team leaders have successfully discipled their team members through the training's sections on support raising, on-the-field devotions, debriefing meetings, and more.
The results showed improved participant preparedness, enhanced collaboration, increased cultural sensitivity, and greater impact on host partners. Now on it’s second edition, this training curriculum has trained over 1000 teams from more than 300 churches/organizations since 2007, including Sandhills Church (xxx, PA), Christ Community Church (St. Charles, IL) and Bethel Church (Redding, CA). This ILT includes both facilitator and learner guides along with 10 instructional videos for the team leaders and team members.
